Tracey Ellis learned the value of hard work early. Growing up in a small town, she started working at just 12 years old — opening and closing a local gift shop, where she quickly mastered customer service, responsibility, and the importance of showing up with consistency. Through her teens and college years, she worked in restaurants and retail, gaining a strong foundation in the realities of business while setting her sights on a bigger stage.
Tracey went on to earn a B.S. in Political Science with an emphasis in pre-law and sociology, followed by a year in law school. While she ultimately chose a different path, the legal knowledge she gained — especially in contracts — continues to serve her daily. Driven by a passion for business, she earned her MBA, setting the stage for a career that would span administration, business development, sales, operations, and marketing, ultimately leading her to the VP level.
Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to launch Tracey Ellis Consulting, where she began shaping strategies for organizations of all sizes. She later co-founded Leadous Inc. with her business partner — a firm that has been helping organizations navigate digital transformation for more than a decade. Over the years, she has partnered with some of the world’s most recognized global brands as well as smaller, growth-minded businesses, always focused on helping them shape their trajectory with clarity and confidence.
At the heart of Tracey’s work is a simple but powerful mission: to leave every client, team, and organization better than she found them — with greater direction, stronger purpose, and renewed poise.
